This simple colour test strip, from our WaterWorks™ brand, allows for quick and accurate testing of Free Chlorine in water. It is a simple dip and read test strip with a precise colour chart and the results are shown within 30 seconds.
This patented test strip can be used to test water across industries from pools and spas to sanitation and other environment. Its unique composition means it does not bleach out, even at levels above 2000 ppm and it has been designed to resist interference from monochloramines.
No other reagents or accessories are needed for this test. We use trace amounts of chemicals on our strips which makes them extremely safe and non-hazardous. They are considered as Articles under OSHA and do not require SDS sheets. This is our new recyclable packaging.
Notes: This test detects Free Chlorine. For best results, run test immediately after collecting a fresh water sample. Levels higher then 2.0ppm may give water a bad taste and lead to the characteristic swimming pool odour. Ideal Free Chlorine levels kill and neutralize bacteria and viruses in the water.
