This simple colour test strip, from our WaterWorks™ brand, allows for quick and accurate testing of the concentration of salt in the water.
It is a simple dip and read test strip with a precise colour chart on the back of the packaging and the results are shown within 20 seconds. This test is designed to detect how salty your salt or brackish water is and if there might be any salt water contamination in your fresh water or vice versa.
It also includes a mark for typical sea water, so you can compare your sample and see if it is more or less salty than sea water. This test can read conductivity too. For detecting Salinity levels in drinking water (Chloride) see product 481027 Chloride Check.
No other reagents or accessories are needed for this test. We use trace amounts of chemicals on our strips which makes them extremely safe and non-hazardous. They are considered as Articles under OSHA and do not require SDS sheets. This is our new recyclable packaging.
